Hubbard Systems' First Product Showcase a Hit
Many Firms Vie to be Colipso Beta Sites

Birmingham, AL, August 12, 2003 - Attendees at Hubbard Systems’ inaugural Product Showcase held in Nashville, Tennessee were treated to the opportunity to see the most promising emerging technologies available and coming soon to the debt collections industry. Hubbard Systems used the venue to officially launch Colipso™, the first collections system to be built on the Microsoft® .Net™ platform. Response was strong as during the meeting a dozen firms expressed interest in serving as Beta sites for Colipso. Some of the firms that expressed an interest in serving as Colipso Beta sites included Golden, Wexler & Sarnese, P.C.; Portnoff Law Associates, Ltd.; Pender & Coward, Attorneys at Law; Winn Brown Law Firm; and Morgan & Pottinger, P.S.C. Alternatively, those firms interested in Windows™-based applications participated in hands-on demonstrations of Hubbard’s enhanced MPower™ software.

Customers from debt collections firms throughout the country interacted with representatives from prominent collections-related vendors including Dolan Information, Accurint, High Cotton and TouchStar Dialer. Jack Hudgens, a Vice President at Nationwide Credit Incorporated, one of the largest accounts receivable management companies in the United States, had high praise for the meeting. “ It was a worthwhile meeting for a number of reasons. Hearing about Hubbard’s new products and services gave me considerable insight into the breadth and sophistication of their offerings. The presentation by Microsoft on their .Net platform and the other vendors’ presentations gave me broader knowledge of the state of technology and how all of these related applications fit together to improve collections productivity. I’ll be back next year.”

Sean Abbott, a Business Productivity Advisor with Microsoft Corporation, provided insight into their .Net platform. “Microsoft is pleased that Colipso’s use of .Net will provide users productivity-enhancing benefits. We think it will clearly position Colipso as a leading edge collection software application for years to come.” Mr. Abbott’s presentation also highlighted how the new collaboration capabilities and other features of Microsoft’s pending release of Office System 2003 can provide users a competitive advantage.

Greg Jones, Hubbard Systems’ CEO, was pleased with the firm’s first meeting of this type. “ We weren’t sure what to expect since we had not held a meeting of our users in this format before. I think our users appreciated the value of being able to see where our product development is headed and how it dovetails with what so many of the vendors that offer complementary applications are doing. We were successful in fulfilling our goal to give participants a clearer picture of where collections technology is headed.”
